How to convert a video to SRT
An SRT file is a plain-text subtitle file that pairs each line of dialogue with the exact time it should appear and disappear on screen. Converting audio files to SRT
Audio-only conversion works the same way as video. Upload an MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, AAC, OGG or AIFF file and OmniveraLabs listens to the speech, splits it into subtitle-length lines, and times each one. Using your .srt file
In Premiere Pro, use File then Import and select the .srt, then drag it onto the timeline. In DaVinci Resolve, right-click in the Media Pool and choose Import Subtitle. In CapCut, open the Text panel and use Import Captions. In VLC, drop the .srt in the same folder as the video with a matching filename and it loads automatically. On YouTube, open Subtitles in YouTube Studio and choose Upload File, then select "With timing".
If a line appears too early or too late, an .srt is editable in any plain-text editor. Adjust the timecode line and save.
