Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to OmniveraLabs's account-based video transcription and content-generation service.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum legal age required to form a binding contract where you live. Do not use the service if you cannot agree to these Terms.
2. The service and account access
OmniveraLabs accepts supported public video URLs, uploaded media and pasted transcripts, produces a transcript where needed, and generates editable text versions. Access to the processing workspace requires an account created with email and password or Google. Email verification, password reset, social sign-in and session management are provided through Firebase Authentication. Full name, country and legal-acceptance profile data are stored in Cloud Firestore. This build does not maintain saved transcript or generation history. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued.
3. Your submissions and responsibility
You are solely responsible for every file, URL, transcript and instruction you submit. You represent that you own the submitted content, have permission from the rights holder, or otherwise have a lawful right to process and repurpose it. Public availability does not mean that content is copyright-free or free of privacy, publicity, trademark, contractual or platform restrictions.
Private, paywalled, login-protected, confidential, stolen, hacked or access-restricted material must not be submitted without lawful authorization. The service does not authorize you to bypass authentication, paywalls, DRM or access controls.
4. Ownership and limited processing permission
You retain ownership of your submitted content. You also own transcripts and generated outputs to the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to any rights in the underlying material. You grant OmniveraLabs and the service providers needed to fulfil your request a limited, non-exclusive permission to receive, copy, convert, transcribe and process the material solely to provide the requested service, maintain security and enforce these Terms.
No ownership of your submitted content is sold or transferred to OmniveraLabs. This limited permission ends when processing and the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy end, except where records must be retained for legal or abuse-prevention purposes.
5. AI-generated output
Transcripts and generated text may contain omissions, transcription errors, invented wording, bias or unsuitable statements. You must review, edit and verify all output before relying on or publishing it. You are responsible for the content you choose to publish and for ensuring that publication does not violate law, third-party rights or platform rules.
6. Third-party websites and platform terms
Supported URLs point to YouTube. Your use of YouTube remains governed by its own terms and policies. OmniveraLabs does not control that service and does not guarantee that a public URL will remain accessible.
This independent service is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube, Google or their respective owners. All names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
7. Prohibited uses
You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. Prohibited conduct includes infringement, unauthorized copying, processing unlawfully obtained or access-restricted material, circumvention of technical controls, impersonation, fraud, harassment, malware, automated abuse and violations of applicable law or third-party platform rules.
8. Copyright complaints and enforcement
Copyright owners and creators may use the Copyright and Takedown Policy to submit a complaint, counter-notice or opt-out request. The service may refuse processing, block specific URLs or technical sources, limit requests, or suspend access to the service when abuse is detected. The service may terminate active sessions and restrict URLs, requests or technical sources when abuse is detected. This build does not maintain a persistent repeat-infringer profile database and cannot promise to identify every repeat offender across devices or sessions.
9. Service and accuracy disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. No guarantee is made that imports, transcripts, output, availability, accuracy, security or compatibility will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in the service is legal advice.
10. Limitation of liability and indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, publication decisions, third-party claims or platform actions arising from use of the service. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend and indemnify the operator against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your submitted material, your publication or use of output, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights, except to the extent prohibited by law.
11. Changes
The service and these legal terms may be updated. The effective date and policy version will be changed when material revisions are published. A new rights confirmation may be required before further processing.
12. Governing law and contact
GOVERNING_JURISDICTION and obtain qualified legal review before public launch.
